New in Town
The little town in Minnesota, where most of the story takes place, was a big character in the story. So we decided to push the ethnic sound of the region, which is largely inhabited with Scandinavian and German ancestry. We mixed Scandinavian folk music with American rural folk music and ended up with a good palette to work from. Jonas and Troy were great collaborators on this film.
