The Sasquatch Gang
We needed an over-the-top jazz hybrid sound that you would find in cartoons from the 60's and 70's. The title chapter cards had to have a big entrance and settle into a groove to bridge us into the live action from their animation. This film had to include goofy fantasy, a love story, villains, a struggle for independence and shifting loyalties. There was a very sweet thru-line to support the budding relationship of Sophie and Gavin, a ridiculous carnival feel and punk rock anger for Hobie and a long jazz hybrid fight scene near the end.
