David has a great eye and a twisted sense of the human condition. We wanted this to be a fun and slinky score with a lot of sex appeal. I used a lot of vibraphones in this film because of the sly quality they automatically provide. Also lots of bass clarinet, walking bass lines and sizzle cymbals on the drums. I was excited to use a string quartet to create a dissonant undercurrent in the film.
